Born and raised in New England, Kaitlin’s personal style and design philosophy reflect the rustic charm of the coastal landscape that surrounded her as a child. Her work is also a reflection of the many diverse cities she has lived in, and more than forty countries she has traveled to. Between excursions to foreign places, Kaitlin earned her bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees in Human Development & Family Studies, Psychology, and Child Development. She even found time for love, and married her husband, Sean, in 2007. After receiving her second master’s degree, Kaitlin soon matched her academic achievements with business ambitions and returned to the area to become the owner and operator of two successful restaurants in southeastern Connecticut. Now Kaitlin brings years of restaurant management, creative prowess, and industry expertise to Blue Lane Events. She loves organizing an intimate dinner party for twelve as much as she enjoys planning beautiful oceanfront destination weddings. Above all, Kaitlin strives to impress guests at every event with fervent attention to detail and thoughtful, elegant design.
