“While our son was hospitalized for nearly a year awaiting a life-saving organ transplant, Jennifer organized a team of volunteers to begin a variety of fundraising activities. Jen planned and hosted numerous benefit events which ranged from casual family-oriented dinners and bowling fundraisers, to a more formal silent auction at an upscale restaurant. In addition to raising money and having fun, goals for these events also included raising awareness around pediatric organ donation. All of the events were very well-attended and immensely successful. Fundraising goals were exceeded at all of the events; and because the functions were so well planned and organized, participants truly enjoyed themselves. “We loved working with Blue Lane for our anniversary party! Jen and Kaitlin were extremely prompt and professional. From the very beginning, they set up a meeting with us to discuss our vision. They asked wonderful questions to help us narrow down what we wanted and really listened to us as we described our preferences. We really appreciated how organized, thoughtful, and creative Jen and Kaitlin were with our party. We would never have thought of some of the things they came up with! Like having a dinghy as a wine and beer cooler, putting tea lights in mason jars and hanging them inside of the tent, or decorating the trash cans with red lobster stencils and creating hand-made napkins to match our nautical theme. We also noticed how well they work together as a team – they seemed to be very much on the same wavelength. Nothing seemed to fluster them. While we were worried about weather, wind, etc., they had plans for everything. They remained calm and positive throughout the event.
