Morganne & Matt ~ Haley Mansion
It’s the details that make a wedding, and man, did this couple kill it! Morganne and Matt (and their families) were the craftiest couple we’ve ever worked with. Not crafty in a tried-to-copy-Pinterest-but-didn’t-pull-it-off kind of way. Like, super talented crafty. Their wedding was at the Haley Mansion at the Inn at Mystic, and this place is gorgeous. When most brides see it, they love that it doesn’t need much extra décor to make it beautiful. But Morganne and her family had different vision, and they somehow made the whole place even more amazing.
Morganne’s mom, Mary, made a bunch of planters to use in different locations outside. There are pretty gardens surrounding the mansion, but these planters really made a huge difference. All of the outdoors spaces were just gorgeous.
Morganne, Matt, and Morganne’s sister Shannon handmade all of these cute paper flowers and attached them to embroidery hoops for escort cards.
Morganne’s dad, Tommy, made incredible walls to cover the bars. The added bit of greenery made a huge difference. He also made this photo booth backdrop.
Mary had black toile fabric flown in from France and sewed all of the table overlays.
Shannon sewed all of the welcome bags for the hotel guests (which had all sorts of goodies, but our favorite part was the fresh baguette from Sift Bakery). The mini cast iron pans as favors were also a huge hit!
For dessert, they had warm Insomnia cookies and cheesecake from Peter Luger’s in NYC. Yum!
All of the details were amazing, but the best part of the day was Morganne’s grandparents as the Flower Ladies and the Ring Bearer.
Cutest. Thing. Ever.
Congrats, Morganne and Matt!
